Gnarly stalwarts of the bubbling South Wales noise rock scene, This is Wreckage have been spitting out their sonic filth since 2012. The latest offering “Transaction/Service”, is a loosely conceptual record that tells the story of a respectable business man who dresses up as a fairy at an underground 70s era meatpacking district club by night. Think “American Psycho” crossed with that grubby Al Pacino movie “Cruising”. It threatens to be Pretty, but then it’s ruined by the noise.
