The rumors have been circulating for years – when would the Man Or Astro-Man? BBC radio sessions be released, and in what format. Well, with this 7″ part of the mystery has been revealed – the 1993 session features three of the band’s earliest radio performances, for the legendary John Peel nonetheless. Man, their nerves must have been off the charts that day! The songs performed were “Transmissions from Uranus”, “Invasion of the Dragonmen”, and “Nitrous Burnout” – unlike the way these were performed live back then, to me they actually sound cleaner and more “solid” than their studio recordings of these songs.
