BigʼN is a noise rock band founded in Chicago in 1990 and consisting of singer William Akins, guitarist Todd Johnson, bassist Fred Popolo and Popolo and drummer Brian Wnukowski. After two exceptional albums (released in 1994 and 1996 respectively), and a series of singles (including a split with split with Shellac), the band suspended its activities for several
years. In 2018, Big’N recorded and released a new EP entitled Knife of Sin. In 2022, they released DTS 25, an expanded reissue of their second album second album, Discipline Through Sound. Both releases were recorded by the late Steve Albini and released by the New label Computer Students TM.
