Instrumental Stoner – Montpellier, FR

FR – Formé en 2008 à Montpellier, ÖfÖ Am est un trio évoluant dans un univers heavy instrumental. Leur délire c’est les vieilles guitares et le vieux son bien gras. D’ailleurs Nico fabrique lui-même les overdrive, fuzz et autres pédales en tout genre qu’utilise ÖfÖ Am. Des influences allant d’Ennio Morricone à Unsane en passant par Led Zeppelin et Ravi Shankar composent l’univers du trio qui construit chacun de ses morceaux comme la BO d’un film imaginaire. Après un premier EP chez Head Records en 2008, le groupe a partagé un split 45 tours avec Karma To Burn (Napalm Records – 2010) puis sorti un album (Slow Death – 2011) et un split 33 tours avec leurs copains de LAHIUS ; le prochain album est en route.
ENG – From the great tradition of inbreeding in the rock bands in Montpellier, ÖfÖ AM has followed the rule since in effect, Nico, here on drums, plays bass and sings in Superbeatnik and Tony, by the guitar, hits drums on Stony Broke.  Influenced by bands ranging from Deep Purple to Unsane through Black Sabbath and Kyuss, ÖfÖ AM has chosen to remain instrumental and focus each of its pieces around a central theme.  Always in search of THE tone , Nico invents the effects used on bass and guitar since he is the creator of the stompboxe’s company “Mazzette”,
