Sloy’s live performances are legendary. They got the band noticed, by the public of course, but also and above all by the ‘professionals’ who quickly fell in love with this trio who came from nowhere and devastated everything in their path. Thanks to their concerts, Sloy signed their first record deal (with the Rosebud label), won over the programmers of French venues and festivals (first and foremost Les Transmusicales de Rennes), attracted a demanding tour manager (Radical Productions) and turned the heads of some of the most emblematic artists of the 90s (Steve Albini, PJ Harvey, Placebo, Noir Désir…) who were quick to praise their merits (read the article here).
